PROFILE

Ioannis Giotopoulos holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Patras; an MSc in International and European Economic Studies from the Athens University of Economics and Business; and a BA in Economics from the University of Patras. Since July 2014 he has been working as an Assistant Professor of Microeconomics at the University of Peloponnese (Department of Economics). In November 2012 – July 2014 he was a Research Associate at the Foundation for Economics and Industrial Research (IOBE). He has been also served as a Research Fellow at the Bank of Greece in 2012-2013. In the 2010-2012 academic years he worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Peloponnese and the University of Central Greece and as a Scientific Collaborator at the Technological Educational Institute of Patras. His research interests focus on Industrial Organization; Business Economics; Entrepreneurship, Economics of Innovation and Strategy. His research work has been published in well-known academic journals such as Review of Industrial Organization; Small Business Economics; International Journal of the Economics of Business; Journal of Industry, Competition and Trade; Economic Modelling; Economics and Business Letters; Economics of Innovation and New Technology; Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development; Journal of Business Research..
